Zara Fall 2012 - Favourite Picks!

Soooo...Zara... hi.... ;)
Anyway, Zara is continuing it's amazing streak of great stuff into the upcoming F/W season! Here are my new favourites:

Blouses:
There are blouses that every girl should have in their closet.  Timeless staples if you will:
Every girl needs an animal print blouse.  Why not this one?
An army green blouse is a staple that should be in every wardrobe.  The colour is never trendy and a neutral that can be paired with black, creams, browns and denim perfectly.
Denim shirts are another closet staple.  The nice thing about denim shirts are all the different washes.  I really like the deep blue of this shirt with gold accents.  This sort of Western style is right on trend with this season.
Plaid shirts have long been a closet staple, especially in the closets of Canadians.  This one is embellished with gold studs on the front pockets.  The studs add a little bit of interest to an already great plaid.

Sweaters:
I shall be trying a cobalt blue sweater this year with white jeans, black belt and boots à la Geraldine Saglio
I'm loving this setup in it's entirety. How amazing is the combination of the vibrant red sweater and the leather skirt?! I'll take both please!! I can also see this sweater paired with a pair of jeans and riding boots for the fall.
I love the high, but loose neck of this sweater.  I think turtlenecks can be such a sophisticated, equestrian chic, however they are usually tighter around the neck which makes them uncomfortable for most... including moi! This fulfills the ability to stand wearing them! I tried this one on in stores and it made my head look really small! Maybe you'll have better luck!!
The colder weather often brings about laziness when choosing what to wear.  I can deal with this over-sized knit, some leggings and those studded oxfords i'm obsessed with.  Lazy, comfortable, but still cute!

Bottoms:
This season's hottest trend: Camo ... and I love those black leather booties
This black skirt is so cute and can be very versatile: See image above with the rockin' red sweater (Added this skirt to my wardrobe earlier this month!)
Cute little skirts are so great to have in any closet! This pleated skirt is fantastic.  It's at a great length; appropriate for work and play.  You can wear it with a blouse for the office, oxfords for a Saturday afternoon stroll and a crop top and heels for the Friday night party.
I really love this leather mini skirt! Again, it's super versatile. Wear it with a sweater and oxfords or a smoking slipper.

Extra goodies:
These oxfords are so cute, enough said!

I don't even know what to say about this coat beside the fact that I love it! The leather sleeves make it biker chic and the shearling body of the coat just looks so cozy and warm.  It's an interesting alternative to a basic wool peacoat.  I'm for it!

Now who is taking me on the Zara shopping spree I've been dreaming of??

Cute and Affordable

While every fall I purchase my investment pieces - a couple sweaters that I absolutely love, they do get up there in cost.  I also then look for less costly items to fill in for when I don't wear my favourites.  Here are a few super cute and super inexpensive sweaters I would choose from Forever21
Colorblocked Raglan Sweater Black/Cream
Colorblocked Raglan Sweater Royal/Cream
Colorblocked Waffle Knit Sweater
