What a great combination! Love the shape of this parka as well as the colour.  I'm really digging navy these days and love combining it with black.  Fashion faux pas, I think not! The knit scarf looks so cozy! If these were mine, I would be counting down the days for the weather to turn so that I could cover myself up in these two items.

Balmain Vs. Zara

Okay..... SO obviously a knock off of the ever so coveted Balmain embroidered boot, this Zara boot rings in at about $2000.00 less than it's better, more detailed source of inspiration! THINK I may have to add these to my shoe roster since the originals are a tad hugely out of my price range!

The High/Low Challenge - Featuring the printed-front knit sweater

This Autumn will see a lot of knitted sweaters with a silk/satin printed front.  Which version do you prefer? The one by high price and luxury brand Preen Line or high street fashion label H&M?

What do you get when you arrange for the trendy cap toe and the smoking slipper to be unified as one? ADR for H&M

The debut of ADR for H&M is less than a month away and I can't wait to see this collection with my own eyes!  Anna Dello Russo; known for her outrageous ensembles and as an endless source of fashion inspiration could not, in my opinion be a better fit for a collaboration with the high street fashion label, H&M.

H&M has done several collaborations with big names in the past; re: Karl Lagerfeld, Marni and even stylist and blogger sensation Elin Kling (although this collection was not available in Canada) to bring a bit of high fashion to a lower budget consumer.

Balmain Resort 2013

What can I say about the Balmain 2013 Resort collection?  I crave this collection.  I first would need a life that was a tad more luxe before I even dream that I would have anywhere to wear these garments! The collection stays true to the immense details for which Balmain has become so famous. The structured garments also speak volumes (pun intended) to the Balmain trademark aesthetic. The collection seems to take inspiration from harlequins with a literal interpretation of 'resort' by mixing the the harlequin diamond and stripes with florals. The unaffordable prices also leave me speechless!! In my dreams this collection shall remain...
