New In: Zara

Finally! We can shop online at Zara in Canada!! Yahoo!!! No more store hopping trying to find what I see online! Right to my door it comes! 

Here are the contents of my first order:

Absolute and utter perfection!  The fit is perfect, they look amazing on and they feel super comfortable! The modest heel will make them the perfect sandal for so many occasions! I will probably even wear these babies to work when the weather warms up! So excited to break them out!

Leave it to Zara to come out with an affordable alternative of the usual coveted suspects each season.  While the two have the main components in sync: 

Smoking slipper shape,

Orange pony hair, 

Black piping, 

I have to say, the Celine originals take the cake this time around! The narrow, more masculine shape and the lighter, brighter shade of orange gives them an air of sophistication that is missing from the Zara smoking slippers.  What are your thoughts? Agree? Disagree?

Now... all I need is about $500.00 and feet apt to wearing flat shoes...

When I saw these Mary-Janes from Zara, I immediately thought they looked very similar to the Mary-Janes by Chloe...basically the heeled version!  The shoes by Chloe don't really do it for me.  I can't wear flat shoes, so they would never be an option, but I'm not too upset about it.  The ones from Zara have a modest heel and I definitely prefer the soft, feminine colour. (It doesn't hurt that the Mary-Janes from Zara are only $99.90, while the ones from Chloe would ring in more than $595.00!)  Zara all the way on this one!
