Travels: Capri

I have been to Italy several times and though I may be biased because my background is Italian, I must say it is one of the most beautiful countries in the world.  There is so much history and unique beauty in every single part.  The food you'll eat in each region will differ from the next, as will it's history!  Italy was only established in 1861 as a unified country, so this speaks volumes as to each region's uniqueness since as a single nation, it is still relatively new!  Known as the boot-shaped country, the Italian geography differs greatly from the North to the South and East to the West.  In Italy, you will find alps, islands, volcanoes, plains, mountains and some of the most gorgeous lanscapes and views of the sea.

Here are some scenic photos of my trip to the island of Capri from last summer!

Balenciaga CLASSIC CITY red SUEDE TOTE

I was soo excited to receive this bag from my boyfriend for Xmas.  It is absolutely perfect! I have a Balenciaga City bag in black leather and it's the perfect size and look for almost any occasion.  The style is Balenciaga City Bag is classically iconic, but with this bag in particular, the rich, red suede gives it an extra bit punch and depth.

PERFECTION!

Trend Alert: Metallics!

Jump on the metallic train with these accessories:
Forever 21 Silver Sandals here
Proenza Schouler Silver Patent PS11 Mini Classic here
ASOS Silver Metallic Faux Leather Sandals here

I know the upcoming seasons also show a ton of coloured metallics, but that requires a post of it's own, as does the holographic trend that has popped up on the Spring 2013 runways!  I am a huge fan of the metallic and holographic trend! I would die for this Proenza Schouler PS11 mini and the ASOS sandals remind me of the Alexander Wang Fabiana metallic sandals that I missed out from the Fall 2011 collection.

Forever 21 Sale Choices

So in case the prices at Forever 21 aren't cheap enough for ya, check out a few of my top sale picks.  Add classic and versatile pieces to your wardrobe without breaking the bank!
I bought this black sweater (here) prior to it going on sale and I absolutely love it.  It's actually so soft and comfy! I went up to a size Medium because I was looking for a bit of an oversized fit! (I may even grab a second one since it's down to $12.99 and you can always use a double of your favourite black sweater!)
I'm a huge fan of this leopard scarf (here)! It's such a classic piece to add to any outfit. At $3.99 it's a steal and doesn't look too different from my Louis Vuitton leopard scarf that I left in a taxi and never saw again :'( At least if you lose it, you may not suffer the grief I did since it costs about 185 x less than the Louis V scarf.  May have to pick this up too!
I haven't tried on either of these fuzzy sweaters (here), but for $13.99 each, I can't believe they would be an unwise addition to any closet! Who doesn't need a black and grey sweater in their closet? The fuzzy factor is an added bonus!
I've said it once and I'll say it again! A striped knit is one of those wardrobe staples that can be worn over and over again in several different ways and will never go out of style or be trendy! Consider this stripped sweater (here) and it'll only set you back $16.99!
Last but not least, check out this cream waffle knit turtleneck (here).  I'm only a fan of wearing turtlenecks with a very loose neck otherwise I feel like I'm choking.  I've tried this baby on and I think it's super cosy and super cute to take you through to the end of the winter and into those cold, initial days of Spring.  If you're interested, it also comes in grey and at only $13.99 you could get both if you choose!

I love Forever 21 because you can always rely on it to provide a plethora of trendy pieces at affordable prices that won't make you feel guilty about perhaps not wearing them after one season.  And I love it even more because it also gives you many classic options in which you don't have to invest a lot of money!

All 6 pieces for a total of $75.94 - CHA CHING!
(Still have lots of money in the bank after this shopping spree!)
